It was fast and quick. We had no idea anything was wrong until Sunday. We figured that we would take her to the vet on Monday but we didn't have the chance. Cupcake, our other guinea pig, knew something was wrong and kept nudging her to eat but she would not. We tried to hand feed her but she would not open her mouth.
Today my dear sweet tween's guinea pig, Peanut Butter, passed away after midnight today.
Her age was unknown but the time she spent with us was wonderful. She was loved by her squeaking every time she heard someone opening the plastic bag of cut up fruits or vegetables or when we were opening the bag of timothy hay. Her running every time we passed by her home always made us laugh.
She will be missed by us all.
On the go but makes time to make yummy meals at home w/the kids, hang out with them and chauffeur them to everything from dance class to auditions.
